Seoul-based artist Yookyung Song creates jewelry to express images that emerge from the surface of calm water. Inspired by the surrounding landscapes reflected in puddles of water after the rain, she uses various materials such as gallium, resin, acrylic, and metal to express them artistically. As an example, the reflections of the water are painted using gallium, which creates a unique texture and interesting effect aesthetically. Her distinctive emotions and experiences are captured through hand-painted liquid paintings using gallium.
